Ever need a break from life’s chaos? I find myself working long hours these days. Being located in SoCal I deal with traffic and more stress than I’d care for on the regular. Getting a chance to take small vacations and get away from the grind is important to reset time to time.

The only issue when I travel tho, what about my weed? If you’re flying or traveling from another state to visit for pleasure or business, you "legally" cannot take personal stash with you.

Traveling with you stash can be tricky...

So how do you resolve the issue of getting high while out of town and no stash?

At the CannaExpo I had a conversation with a buddy of mine who mentioned he knew of a "420-Friendly" AirBNB-type rental in Sonoma, CA. I thought the idea was genius since the location approved cannabis consumption on their private property. -Even better he mentioned was the kicker; they lined up a local licensed cannabis delivery service to provide lab tested clean cannabis flower and papers for rolling. All this was included in the price to stay the night!

The delivery service is essentially offering a third party service to the guests that are 21+ with ID at the rental location. They do custom orders for whatever you want, flower, extracts, vape, topicals, CBD, edibles etc. Nice to know they have the apparatus to consumer the product being offered too which makes the trip even more hassle-free.

The issues with regular hotels or AirBNB rentals is they don’t let you consume cannabis on site, so if you’re traveling, you risk fees and trouble breaking those rules. I like the idea that I can arrive to the rental property, use the lockbox to gain access to the house, walk in, and find clean cannabis sitting on the kitchen table awaiting me. Rather than worrying about how to sneak my weed in and consume it.

I’ve been smoking for a long time, and removing the stress of traveling with my weed, or having to find a local dispensary when I arrive in town, is amazing. When I checked into my the 420-Friendly rental in Sonoma, I felt taken care of and catered to as a true guest with special needs. :)

Staying chill in the Russian River while enjoying the late august summer heat waves.

They gave me tips on locals spots to eat and check out the river beaches. I even had the option to get a private limo & driver to take us on the vineyard tours around Sonoma! We opted to go to Bodega Bay in our rental car and spend the day exploring. Next trip we’d want to get the private car & driver so we don’t have to worry about driving after drinking. Great services options to ensure your satisfaction while visiting.

When we got back from exploring Sonoma, I got to roll up some Strawberry Banana flower. It was very sticky with pungent aroma, and smoked it on the balcony overlooking the Russian river. Relaxing the evening away sipping a glass of Pinot Noir while the sun sets, I appreciated the craft-skill used creating this locally grown and produced weed / wine tasting.

I enjoyed the day of traveling thru the hills of Sonoma and Napa Valley and getting settled in at this river view cabin in Sonoma. I can’t wait to go back and HIGHly recommend you take some time to visit one of their locations.
